My Astro-Tech 127mm Triplet Refractor has no graduations on the focuser tube to help with finding best focus. Other versions of this scope do have the graduations. I had been using a black felt marker to mark key focus points on my focuser tube for imaging with different focal reducers and my modified DSLR cameras. So, I made a template using Photoshop and printed it on Avery clear label stock. I used a sheet of Avery Clear Address Labels #8660 for Ink Jet printers. Because that page of shipping labels is precut to 1" X 2.75" size labels, I needed to piece five individual sections together on my focuser tube after printing. Avery also has "Full Page" clear label stock: "Avery® Clear Full-Sheet Labels for Inkjet Printers #18665", that would not have to be pieced together. Another layer of clear stock can be placed over the printed graduations to protect it from the elements.
The Template is in JPG format and is 300 pixels/inch resolution. I made the template for the full travel of my focuser and it is 5 inches long. It can be resized or cut as needed for your scope.

If you have a black focuser tube, you can invert the colors (black and white) in Photoshop before printing.
